The Cliffs follows Jane, a Harvard archivist who returns to her coastal Maine hometown after a life-altering setback. Drawn into uncovering the history of a once-mysterious Victorian house on the cliffs, she explores layered stories of the women who lived there and the hidden past that shaped them. Rich with themes of family, memory, and the legacy of place, this novel blends heartfelt character work with a deep look at the histories that linger beneath the surface.
