Meet us near the parking lot and we will take a creek stomping adventure into Clifty Creek. We will search for plants and animals that live in our own backyards, cool off our feet and splash. Please wear shoes that are suitable for the water. This activity is for children in grades kindergarten through sixth grade and their caregiver. Caregivers are required to stay with their children for the entire hike. Please bring your own bug spray, sunscreen, and water. Please keep in mind that there are no restrooms available at this location. This program may be canceled due to inclement weather so keep an eye on the events calendar and social media. Registration is required.
The Main Library is located in the Cleo Rogers Memorial Library in downtown Columbus at 536 Fifth Street. Completed in 1969 and designed by architect I.M. Pei, it features library collections for children, teens, and adults. It also houses the Columbus Indiana Architectural Archives, Family and Local History collection, and BCPL Create studio.
