Natalie Perry and Eric Riddle will lead a discussion on the ecological benefits of native plants and what the Sierra Club is doing in Columbus to diversify public landscapes with native plants.
Natalie and Eric will share how their home gardens have been inspired by ecologist Doug Tallamy. His organization, Homegrown National Park, has motivated thousands of people across the country to use native plants in their home landscapes.
The presentation will include volunteer opportunities with the Sierra Club to help maintain native plant beds in the city. You will also learn how to purchase plants through the 2026 Sierra Club native plant sale.
