In her latest book,"Writing Wild: Women Poets, Ramblers, and Mavericks Who Shape How We See the Natural World" author Kathryn Aalto celebrates 25 women whose writing deepens our connection to and understanding of the natural world. One of the featured wordsmiths is Indiana’s own Gene Stratton-Porter. Aalto is an American landscape designer, historian and author, living in England. She last visited us in 2016 with a talk about her book "The Natural World of Winnie-the-Pooh."

The Main Library is located in the Cleo Rogers Memorial Library in downtown Columbus at 536 Fifth Street. Completed in 1969 and designed by architect I.M.
