Are you a fan of Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Supernatural, or The X-Files? Do you enjoy playing games like Dungeons & Dragons? Do you love listening to actual play podcasts and shows like Critical Role, The Adventure Zone, or Dimension 20? If you said yes to any of those questions, come on down to BCPL on Saturday November 4th and learn how to play Monster of the Week with local actual play podcast group The Critshow! No experience with RPG’s? No problem! The Crit Crew will teach you everything you need to know as you play along with them on their exciting and hilarious adventures. Program geared toward ages 13+.

What is the Critshow?

The Critshow is an actual play podcast where the main story, The Other Side of the Coin, is set in a world using the Powered by the Apocalypse system (Monster of the Week, Dungeon World, and more).

Every Wednesday the gang tries their best to solve Rev’s mysteries, protect the innocent, and hunt monsters alongside their allies at the Indiana Paranormal Task-force (IPT). Their intentions are good, their dice rolls… not so much.

About the branch

The Main Library is located in the Cleo Rogers Memorial Library in downtown Columbus at 536 Fifth Street. Completed in 1969 and designed by architect I.M. Pei, it features library collections for children, teens, and adults. It also houses the Columbus Indiana Architectural Archives, Family and Local History collection, and BCPL Create studio.
