Welcome to the Summer 2023 Great Brickish Make-Off Challenge! We invite you to use brick-style blocks to create an original design inspired by this year’s theme; which will be revealed at the Summer Reading Kickoff! Starting on June 5th you can use your own bricks at home to create your masterpiece Entries need to be set up on the library plaza between 10-10:30 am on June 24th. Entries are eligible to win a lego set, silly trophies and more awards.
Don’t want to build at home? Compete in our quickbuild competition. At 10:30 am, each participant will be given 30 minutes and identical legos to build their best interpretation of the mystery subject. The subject will be revealed at the start of the quickbuild.

The Main Library is located in the Cleo Rogers Memorial Library in downtown Columbus at 536 Fifth Street. Completed in 1969 and designed by architect I.M. Pei, it features library collections for children, teens, and adults. It also houses the Columbus Indiana Architectural Archives, Family and Local History collection, and BCPL Create studio.
