This Progressive Preservation Talk Series will feature a talk and tour with Daniel Ostroff, Head of Acquisitions and Research at the Eames Institute and Louis Joyner, Architect and Preservationist.
In a public discussion, Daniel will talk about the connections and history of Eames furniture at First Christian Church, while Louis, a local architect in Columbus, will share his work and involvement with the First Christian Church Save Our Tower campaign. A special tour will take place at FCC immediately following the talk.
This event is hosted by Landmark Columbus Foundation. Funding for this event is provided by Indiana Humanities (through the support of the National Endowment for the Humanities, a federal agency) and Indiana Landmarks.

The Main Library is located in the Cleo Rogers Memorial Library in downtown Columbus at 536 Fifth Street. Completed in 1969 and designed by architect I.M. Pei, it features library collections for children, teens, and adults. It also houses the Columbus Indiana Architectural Archives, Family and Local History collection, and BCPL Create studio.
