December 21 is the first day of Winter, and also the shortest day and longest night of the year. We will meet in the Children’s Department to share a snack, make our own lanterns, and learn the science behind the Winter Solstice. We will end the program with a Lantern Walk around the library as the sun sets and the longest night begins. Registration is requested but not required to ensure enough snacks and craft materials.
