Paws for a Great Cause
During the month of November and December, we will be accepting donations for some local pet rescues.
Columbus -
During the month of November and December, we will be accepting donations for some local pet rescues.
Items needed are:
- Unopened bags of dry dog, puppy, cat, and kitten food
- Cat Litter
- New and gently used blankets
- Towels and rugs
- Unopened dog and cat treats
- Dog and cat toys
- Dog and cat beds
- New and gently used dog collars
- New and gently used break-away cat collars
- Dog leashes
- Dog and cat shampoo
- Unopened cans of wet dog, puppy, cat, and kitten food
Cash donations will be accepted at the Adult Circulation desk. Cash donations will be divided between local pet rescues. Checks must be made out to a specific pet rescue.
Donations may be made at Main location and Adult Circulation and Children's department. Donations are also accepted at Hope Branch.

The Main Library is located in the Cleo Rogers Memorial Library in downtown Columbus at 536 Fifth Street. Completed in 1969 and designed by architect I.M. Pei, it features library collections for children, teens, and adults. It also houses the Columbus Indiana Architectural Archives, Family and Local History collection, and BCPL Create studio.
