Learn some of our local history as you tour City Cemetery.
City Cemetery is the final resting place to hundreds of Columbus' earliest residents, and they all have unique and interesting stories. On this self-paced tour, library staff positioned around the cemetery will share the stories of ten families buried there. This program is suitable for all ages, and a cemetery scavenger hunt will be available for children as they complete the tour. The rain date for this event is Wednesday October 19 5:30-6:30.

The Main Library is located in the Cleo Rogers Memorial Library in downtown Columbus at 536 Fifth Street. Completed in 1969 and designed by architect I.M. Pei, it features library collections for children, teens, and adults. It also houses the Columbus Indiana Architectural Archives, Family and Local History collection, and BCPL Create studio.
