Come celebrate the Large Arch!
The Large Arch is turning 50! Bartholomew County Public Library and the Columbus Area Arts Council invite you to join us outside on the Library Plaza to celebrate 50 years of the Large Arch in Columbus. Drop in anytime between 10:00am and 12:00 pm on Saturday, May 8 to make art with us! Art supplies and paper will be provided. The first 100 children 12 and younger will be given their own set of water colors to use on the Plaza and take home to keep. All ages are welcome. Masks are required for anyone 8 and older, please maintain 6 feet of distance between family groups.

The Main Library is located in the Cleo Rogers Memorial Library in downtown Columbus at 536 Fifth Street. Completed in 1969 and designed by architect I.M. Pei, it features library collections for children, teens, and adults. It also houses the Columbus Indiana Architectural Archives, Family and Local History collection, and BCPL Create studio.
