Rebecca Lorenz highlights pollinator plants from Sierra Club's 2021 Bring Back Butterflies and Bees native plant sale. She covers larval host plants, pollinators and more.
Rebecca covers information for gardeners who wish to create natural garden spaces to attract pollinators and provide a wild area for them to flourish. Larval host plants are plants that adult butterflies depend upon to raise their larval young. Female butterflies lay their eggs directly onto their host plant of choice since caterpillars cannot travel far to feed. Beautiful photos will be shared from our team of native plants and the pollinators that depend on them. Sierra Club will have a booth at the Columbus Farmer’s Market May 15th and May 22nd where we will sell the remainder of the wholesale order of native pollinator plants from Spence Restoration Nursery, (Muncie, IN) for $3 each.
