Learn all about popcorn!

Popcorn is more than just a tasty treat, it’s a chance to learn about plants, where our food comes from, and physics! In this Family STEAM kit, you will investigate a real ear of corn and then pop it into popcorn! Access to a microwave is required for this activity. To reserve your kit, register online on our events page by Monday, November 2 and pick up your take-n-make materials at the children’s desk starting November 4.  Late registrants may not be guaranteed a kit. (See November 2 event listing to register.)
