Low head dam accident survivor Warren Rosenthal covers safety on the river, specifically about low-head dams (LHD) and his July 9, 2017 encounter with a LHD. He brings a simulator model so that participants can view up close the hydraulic recirculation that the dams cause that makes them dangerous. Rosenthal also shares how to locate LHD in Indiana and other important information. Event hosted by the Sierra Club and open to all.
