Celebrate Black History Month by learning about the first Black woman to go into space- former NASA Astronaut Mae Jemison! This month, children ages 3-5 together with their caregivers will discover what it's like to be an astronaut as they learn about Mae Jemison. This is a drop in event, please come any time between 11:15-12 and stay as little or as long as you'd like!

The Main Library is located in the Cleo Rogers Memorial Library in downtown Columbus at 536 Fifth Street. Completed in 1969 and designed by architect I.M. Pei, it features library collections for children, teens, and adults. It also houses the Columbus Indiana Architectural Archives, Family and Local History collection, and BCPL Create studio.
