Drop in anytime from 2 - 7 PM to visit the Archives of BCPL. See some of their awesome collections of library history and architectural records.

As the library celebrates its 125-year anniversary this year, we have been mining our Institutional Records to share our history. Visit the Archives to see the library's first book, an early twentieth century financial ledger, a map from the 1950s identifying library stations throughout the county, and oh so many photos.

The Main Library is located in the Cleo Rogers Memorial Library in downtown Columbus at 536 Fifth Street. Completed in 1969 and designed by architect I.M. Pei, it features library collections for children, teens, and adults. It also houses the Columbus Indiana Architectural Archives, Family and Local History collection, and BCPL Create studio.
