Food Trucks and Music
Join us for a Jazz in July concert featuring the Al Cobine Big Band. This free outdoor performance will take place Friday, July 19 at 7pm at the Bartholomew County Public Library in Columbus. In the event of rain, the concert will be moved indoors to the Columbus Commons.
The concert will be emceed by WFIU host David Brent Johnson. We encourage guests to bring lawn chairs, blankets, or even a picnic! Food trucks will also be available during the event.
The Al Cobine Big Band was founded in 1956 and has continued after the death of its esteemed bandleader. The band has toured with such legends as Elvis Presley and John Denver and is well-known in its own right for the quality established when Cobine was alive.
Support for Jazz in July comes from presenting partner Greene & Schultz Trial Lawyers and supporting partner Columbus Area Visitors Center.
