It’s ALIVE! Er, we mean, ALIGHT! Explore electricity and add some fun to your spooky fall celebrations with paper circuits. Participants will make a light-up card for Day of the Dead. This program is self-paced and self-guided. All supplies and instructions included, as well as a link to a demonstration on YouTube. Register online on our events page by October 16, and pick up your materials at the children’s desk starting October 21. Late registrants are not guaranteed a kit.
Note to caregivers: This kit does contain small parts, including LEDs, lithium batteries, and copper tape. Adult supervision is recommended and some assistance may be required.

The Main Library is located in the Cleo Rogers Memorial Library in downtown Columbus at 536 Fifth Street. Completed in 1969 and designed by architect I.M. Pei, it features library collections for children, teens, and adults. It also houses the Columbus Indiana Architectural Archives, Family and Local History collection, and BCPL Create studio.
