Explore chemistry and the science of chromatography! Participants will use simple materials to create a paper butterfly and visualize the chemical structure of pigments. This activity is self-directed and self-paced. All instructions included. Register online on our events page by September 4, and pick up your materials at the children’s desk starting September 9 through September 11.

The Main Library is located in the Cleo Rogers Memorial Library in downtown Columbus at 536 Fifth Street. Completed in 1969 and designed by architect I.M. Pei, it features library collections for children, teens, and adults. It also houses the Columbus Indiana Architectural Archives, Family and Local History collection, and BCPL Create studio.
