Taught by professional instructor Tami Watson, this class, for women 12 and up, will start you on your way to becoming more situationally aware and teach you more about potential dangers in every day scenarios. Attendees receive a combination of classroom and hands on instruction of basic self-defense for women. Wear comfy clothes and soft-soled shoes. Classes are part of a CSA New Tech Senior Project by Emily Silvers and Isabel Sanchez.

The Main Library is located in the Cleo Rogers Memorial Library in downtown Columbus at 536 Fifth Street. Completed in 1969 and designed by architect I.M. Pei, it features library collections for children, teens, and adults. It also houses the Columbus Indiana Architectural Archives, Family and Local History collection, and BCPL Create studio.
